Gimpshop – Photoshop kostenlos

Ich bin ja selbst Mediengestalter und nutze oft Photoshop, aber zu Hause mache ich ja nicht so viel als dass ich mir Adobe Photoshop leisten könnte und wollte. Daher möchte ich allen die Photoshop kennen und mögen Gimpshop empfehlen. Gimpshop basiert auf dem von Linux bekannten OpenSource Programm Gimp und wurde von Scott Moschella so verändert, dass es Photoshop sehr ähnlich sieht und sich sehr ähnlich zu benutzen ist. Ich kann es jedem nur empfehlen. Den Download für Windows, Linux und Mac OS gibt es hier.

Do you use EyeTV Exporter since EyeTV 2 is out?

I just want to know if EyeTV Exporter is “Out-of-Order” for you since the release of EyeTV version 2.0?

I’m in the plan to update EyeTV Exporter. Do you miss features in EyeTV Exporter what I could make for you? What are this features? Would it made sense to integrate this feature in the Exporter or should it be an extra app?

my own iTunes backup script

I needed to backup my iTunes music to my external usb drive because I want to use the music on my Xbox 360. I wasn’t willing to do it by hand. So I wrote an applescript to do it. The script backups all iTunes playlists into a folder and builds the same folder/playlist structure as in iTunes. It takes some time to run but it works fine.

I added the script to my macmediacenter section. I call it backupbyplaylist – it is a beta version since I only tested it on my one system. Please comment if it is fine for you.
