73 Gedanken zu “unscramble for Mac OS

  1. That’s good news! I’ve got an Intel Mac Mini with Crossover installed (hmmm, I wonder if that’ll work, may have to actually get an XP install), so I should be OK. Heck, I can always use VPC if it doesn’t work right.

I’m just glad that you don’t have to use some crazy specific DVD drive in some crazy diagnostic mode, that makes life much easier.

  2. Pingback: Unscramble

  3. Any way to link the file another way? I can’t get mediafire to work. I’ve never experienced anything more frustrating.. but it just won’t download the file.

  4. has any body tried converting an unscrambled image to a compressed dmg (mac users only) and then burnt the file via disk utility that way???, the software here does not work for me, but im not in to terminal stuff

  5. Hi I have downloaded a wii game using my Mac, when I drag the iso file into toast and try and burn it says CD-ROM XA or Audio tracks cannot be written to DVD

    Can anyone please help?

    thanx

  6. Don’t use toast… just use disc utility… drag the iso to the left window and click the burn icon at the top. And don’t believe people who say to use a slow speed while burning… use the fastest speed the media allows or your computer allows.

  7. you’re coming after the battle.
This tool is used to decrypt .wii disc image to make them .iso

Regarding wiikey1.9g just burn the iso with osx disk utility. i did it like that and it worked (better use a dvdrw)

  8. Just to let the PPC people out there know, I’ve got a G5 with 10.4.9 and it burns the wii .iso files perfectly in Disk Utility but not in Toast 7 or 8, Cheers

  9. OK at the risk of getting flamed can someone tell me if you have to be running a moded wii in order to get it to accept burned DVD-R discs (Sony’s)? I’ve d/l’d two .iso’s from a “reputable” site and burned them as described above with disk utility (using slow and fast speeds) but my stock console just gives me “unable to read” errors. I’m using an intel iMac running x.4.9. I’m locking the iso’s before burning … many TIA …

  10. Used hi2hello’s method above with the following return script

-bash: cd/Users/romanturkiewicz/Desktop/alt.binaries.games.wii/1027]-[Gottlieb.Pinball.Classics.PAL.WII-SUSHi][~:58] – yEnc/unscramble_ppc: No such file or directory

Using a pre intel Mac G5 PPC. Wii file is good. Used vers 2.5 Unscrambler.
    Any ideas would be appreciated

ummm – you really think you can play a copied game on a stock console?
    cmon.

a little common sense and/or the website google.com would have answered your question.

  12. Hello you friendly bunch,
I am desperately hoping that someone here might be able to help this hopelessly uncomputer minded mac user. I have managed to download a wii game which shows up as an rar. Then i unrarx-ed it and it turned into several files .000 – .004 and a .dvd file instead of .iso’s like everybody claims they should. What to do? I have google searched and tried all day and am tearing my hair out! So far I have 3 coasters… Please be kind, use small words… :)
    Many thanks…

  13. i use disk utility on my Mac os X intel core, but when i insert the dvd -R on the wii i see the icon of the intro, but when i press start to begin the screen goes black and says that “unauthorized error 001 has been detected” WHAT AM I DOING WRONG…?
